Cnc Joinery

With the rising use of CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) manufacturing and joinery has become extremely efficient. We operate in the workshop with CNC technology (computer numerical control) which is a tool controlled by a computer. A computer numerical control (CNC) router is a computer-controlled cutting machine related to the hand-held router used for cutting various hard materials, such as woodcompositesaluminiumsteelplasticsglass, and foams. CNC routers can perform the tasks of many carpentry shop machines such as the panel saw

With the use of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, there is an easily available and wide range of bespoke designs. The employment of computer-aided manufacturing has meant that customisation has become endless. Creating something unique for home, work or social environments is an exciting prospect and something that can be achieved effortlessly.

Our knowledge of CNC related joinery has allowed us to develop an understanding of the use conditions and fitting of some common joints as well as the possibilities for more intricate projects.

Edging Services

We offer an edging service for veneering. Edging for veneering encompasses veneering the edges of core units that have been veneered so that there is no evidence of MDF (or other wood that has been used)

The edging that we provide comes in a variety of natural timber veneers, ABS, tape, plywood edging and medium density fibreboard. This edging is easily manufactured using a combination of CAM and mechanisms such as Industrial Edge Banders. Our edge banding process is used to cover exposed sides of boards that have been cut. This increases durability or changes appearance.
